Professional Summary

Minnieke is an Occupational Therapist and Case Manager with over 20 years' experience specialising in neuro-rehabilitation for adults with spinal cord and brain injuries, with particular expertise in cognitive dysfunction following brain injury. After qualifying in 2003 in South Africa, Minnieke relocated to the United Kingdom in 2005, progressing through community and hospital-based roles.

In 2012, she became an Advanced Occupational Therapist at Harrogate Hospital, specialising in acute stroke and neuro-rehabilitation, leading Multi-Disciplinary Meetings, conducting mental capacity assessments, and implementing cognitive rehabilitation programmes.

Since joining CCMS in 2016, Minnieke went on to manage complex caseloads predominantly comprising adults with traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries for 10 years.

With Key Case Management, she completes comprehensive needs assessments, prepares costed rehabilitation packages, and implements multi-disciplinary interventions to maximise client potential.

Minnieke prepares Occupational Therapy and Care expert witness reports for Court, having completed the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness certificate. She provides expert evidence in court and has lead colleagues in housing and manual handling assessments.
